New England Ferries
New England has many islands, all of which are part of the rich fabric
of the regions history and culture. Exploring these islands is a great
way to see New England and ferry lines throughout New England operate
year round for the larger islands (such as Block Island, Martha's
Vineyard, Nantucket, Monhegan Island) and seasonally for the smaller
islands (many of which scatter the long New England coastline). Space
for vehicles is often limited and reservations should be made far in
advance. In most cases if you want to leave your car on the mainland, there
is parking available for a fee at the ferry dock. Please see below for
